Frequently Asked Questions
Why was this site built?
The purpose of the MormonsMadeSimple project is to promote understanding of the Mormon faith through fun and educational videos that can be easily shared in online communities.  The videos in this series have been carefully designed to address some of the most common misconceptions about the Church, as identified by an extensive poll conducted in 2008 by Lawrence Research and published in "How Americans View Mormonism"
Is this site affiliated with the LDS Church?
No. This website is not owned by or affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The views expressed herein do not necessarily represent the position of the Church. For the official Church website, please visit LDS.org.
Are the illustrations used in these videos available for public use?
Yes! The simplicity of these drawings makes them perfect for use with children in Primary or Family Home Evening. For commercial use, a small royalty will be assessed.  Actually, think of it more like a small donation to help put our talented April Hendricks through the Graphic Design program at BYU.  Please contact us for more details.
Can you make a custom video for me?
Yes! Please visit stuffmadesimple.com for more details.
What can I do to help?
First off, sign up for the Facebook Missionary Challenge.  Then get all your friends to sign up.  If you'd like to be involved in the production of a video, please consider writing a script, submitting an idea, or making a donation. Thanks!
Do you have an idea for a video that could help us explain the Mormon faith? If so, please tell us.
